we are no where near sending a person to mars... like 1/2 of the probs that get sent there DIE.... just like the last eurpian on.... bush only wants to spend money on things that will make more ppl like him even if there are tons of needing ppl in his own country... dork...

The funny thing is, Bush wants to see this happen in ten years. Correct me if I'm wrong, but even if he gets re-elected, he won't be in office in ten years. So...while I think it's a neat thing...he really can say whatever he wants about what he would like to see happen, since there's not a snowball's chance in hell that he'll actually have any say whatsoever in whether or not it actually happens.

Looks good in a re-election year, though, I'll give him that! icon_lol.gif

Seriously...I think it's a neat idea, and I applaud the concept. I just find it funny that so many news stories I've read make it sound like he's going to single-handedly transform the space program at best five years after he's out of office, nine if he doesn't win the election. icon_biggrin.gif

"Space is the future of this planet" cus we are killing it... our governments are letting big evil corps dump tons apon tons of posions in to the environment every year... why don't we take care of our planet and our ppl first!
