Probably you're right...but the fact remains that on a computer tech website, the odds are pretty good that people are going to be male. In fact, without doing any research at all, I'd have to say that on average, the proportion is usually about 80-20 in favour of males.
Heck, I run into it all the time, especially since my screen name is male.

But in a place which typically draws far more males than females, unless you post something that makes it obvious you're one or the other, people are going to assume you're male. I was just saying that perhaps Miss Devin shouldn't get mad about it, but correct us in a polite manner, unless we know her personally, or until she's been a member here for so long that it's silly to not know what gender she is.
