Segways are $5,500-a-piece machines. What is wrong with bicycles?

For as fast as they go, what's wrong with walking??

I guess that is 12mph, but still, how often do the cops run (except for fresh donuts)??

Pretty sad - the cop would have to dismount to chase down a fleeing suspect. What's to stop a passer-by from swiping the Segway?

And what if the suspect went down the steps.....gee whizz would love to see that thing down the steps with the cop hanging on for their life!!

I gotta ask my little bro about this one!
