Woot! Taxes are DONE!
A new record for me! Property tax is PAID, Fed and State taxes are filled out AND FILED! Even better than that, I got one WHOPPER of a RETURN coming in the next couple weeks!
I don't think I've ever gotten them all out of the way this early before.
So... Anyone think they got me beat?

I don't have my W-2 form yet - no way to file without it.

I just got my W-2 yesterday. I don't have my bank statements so I don't know how much interest I made. I'll probably head over to the bank tomorrow or Tuesday to get my statement. Once I get my taxes done, I need to fill out the FAFSA and send that in for next year.

I've gotten ONE W-2 so far. Out of 14. And one 1099. I usually don't get to do my taxes until March or so.

This is the only part I truly hate about my job...virtually every venue I work in is a different employer, so I have to wait for EVER for my W-2s to meander in.

Yah, I didn't have to wait for my mortgage stuff, as I don't have a traditional mortgage on this place, and what I paid in interest was negligible and didn't make a difference in the outcome at all, anyway. And I haven't been able to save a dime in 2 years, so I know the bank didn't pay me enough interest on my $25 savings account, to make a difference, either... lol.
Ah well,.....
I'm gonna beeee rich! hmmhmm hmmm hmm hmmhmm hmmm

Bitch about it,
Legally they're required to have them issued by Jan. 31

Yes, that's true. But last I checked, it's still only January 18, or January 19 if you count the fact that it's 2:38am. So who am I going to bitch to, and to what effect?

Edit:
Oh yeah....and legally, they have until February 15 to get out 1099s.
