I couldn't keep my old number because of my Pre Pay service, it's impossible to transfer the number over so I had to accept getting a new number. It's cool though. Allright now onto the goodies.
I chose Cingular as my provider, I went with the Cingular Nation GSM plan. $40 a month for 500 anytime rollover minutes and 5000 night and weekend. Right now I get an additional 500 anytime for a total of 1000 anytime's for like the first 3 months. Can't wait for those to roll over
The GSM plan had good coverage and i'm never roaming really. Either I get the service or I don't. Of course that could be a bad thing, but the coverage area is downright nuts for the united states and it's getting better. The phone I chose was the Motorola T720. Nice flip phone, color screen, polyphonic tones, Java, WAP browsing all kinds of goodies.
So far im really liking the phone and the service, I even get signal at home which is very rare because I usualy get nothing at home because I live in the middle of no where.
