Here's the problem:

I installed a Gigafast powerline network using two Gigafast USB to powerline adapters and one Gigafast powerline to Ethernet bridge. I have the ethernet bridge plugged into my SMC router. The two USB adapters are on two of my PCs. The PCs get assigned an IP address by the SMC router and that works fine but I cannot get to the internet. I've tried using ICS and actually had it working but now it just won't work no matter what I do. Ths SMC router has four wired ports and is connect to a cable modem. I have two other PCs wired to the SMC router and they work fine. I can map drives and share folders with the other PCs too but no internet. Any suggestions on how to get this working would be appreciated!

Is the ethernet bridge getting 2 IPs from the router for each of the Gigafast adapters?

Good point. A bridge will usually only allow a single device attached to it to obtain a DHCP lease (That's how wireless bridges operate anyhow). So you might have to pop a router onto the bridge, then plug the PC's into the router.

The bridge is most likely the problem.
have you tried
Modem>router>bridge yet? that should work.
or is that how you have it?

No. The PCs with the USB adapters are configured with static IPs. Do you think I should I change them to let the router assign IPs?

The bridge only has one ethernet connector. The other connector is the power plug. The bridge seems to be working since the PCs with the USB powerline adapters can ping the router. The problem is I can't get to the internet.

Here is Gigafast's diagram:

That's exactly how it is set up.

terabyte, get in MSN chat. Too many questions to ask here.

I'm going to disconnect one of the USB adapters to see if that does anything. Let me know if you think of anything else.

I got it working. Thanks for the help. It turns out that ICS requires a static IP of 192.168.0.1 for the local gateway on the PC sharing the connection. I changed it on the host box and reset the client to static IPs and everything is working great.
