argh! 54meg...

i'll get it anyway, I hope you can do it to a value...
Eldaah
I still have my SBLive Value card from the days long ago. I have no problems and I don't use live ware since it really sucks so I won't update unless it provides someting good. Keep us updated.
Mr Magoo
eldaah - why not try it!!
Jason
I wouldn't touch it, the sblive is not an Audigy and through a bit of software can not be made an Audigy.

Who really wants 54meg of Liveware crap on there PC ?

I have a live 5.1 and all I have is the XP drivers built in, no creative crap at all.

I have downloaded the "tweaked" or "hacked" drivers... but haven;t did the actual install of them. I have the instructions on how to do it.

I heard that CPU usage increases greatly.. i only have 800MHz and would like to reserve it for something better :P

The question is, do they actually work better and deliver better sound than your existing drivers... or is it all psychological and in the users' heads? icon_biggrin.gif
mbeeston
yes they help a little.. playing a mp3.. lost 7% total cpu useage... more power for me server icon_wink.gif
