Well, MS did it again. With Ruebens coming in second and a very happy Jenson Button making his second consecutive podium. Don't know how the coverage is outside of the US but our commentators were lamenting the failing of McLaren and Williams as top tier teams and the resurrgence of Renault and Honda (BAR). THis year looks like a lock for MS but I think next year he'll be fighting constantly.

Williams are close but not close enoough to Ferrari. McLaren are nowhere, and Mercedes/Ilmor need a good kick in the backside.

Looks like we've got another 2002 on our hands, and I doubt it'll change next year either. icon_cry.gif

Williams????? Close?????

Bwa-hahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!

I fear Button and BAR more than all-blow, no-go JPM!
The GazMeister
Well, closer than anyone else.

Just an idea to change the F1. How about award the point to the last cars and the car that let them pass the most wins.....

In this way Coulthard could become a Champion in no time....icon_wink.gif

True, he's not bad but not Championship material.

I've taken a liking to Button... I also think that there's a new driver what will have an impact. It's not JPM, KR, Alonso or Christian. He's out there somewhere and when he hits, Schuey's done with his run. I just don't see any of the current crop challenging him.
The GazMeister
Button seems to have risen to the occasion of a decent car. He was very young when he entered F1 and is maturing into a very good driver.

It's another year of Dominance for Schuey and Barrichello. Mind you, Ferrari has kept the came central personnel for the past 8 years, which is the main reason for their dominance. Ross Brawn, Rory Byrne, The Great Michael Schumancher, and decent second drivers in Rubens and Eddie Irvine (96-99). This Combo is simply hard to stop, especially when you have two private test tracks at your leisure and dedicated support from Bridgestone.
