how do i get rid of the logon thing when 98 starts?

Change Client for Microsoft Networks in the network properties, to Windows Family logon, or something like that. It's in the pull down box underneath the protocols list.
Installl tweakUI from the Win 98 CD. I beleive it lives in the tools folder somewhere.
Or get it from MS web site...do a search
Yes, it is at MS, but why d/load when on CD? 
sometimes they have a pre-built system...and have that all in one Os-drivers-and other crap cd
