Haven't bothered trying to uncap it or reprogram the modem... maybe some day.

Cable for me, unfortunately the upload really sucks(16k)...but the download(1mb) is nice.

capped dsl... its too freakin expensive over here.... capped at 128k, its not much faster than a modem, but it still IS faster, and i get 24/7 connectivity and free up one phone line

before ATT bougth @Home, I could download at 330 kb/s and upload at 16 kb/s

now I can only do 170 kb/s (sons of bitches at ATT) and still upload the same, however these past 2 days I noticed my upload speed has been almost doubled and I can upload at 28-30 KB/s which is really really nice I think. Now I can host a few games of warcraft 3 myself... that reminds me, we should all play warcraft 3 when we get together some time.

DSL here I get great UL speed but my DL jumps around a lot Im not sure why.

Since I live in the country, I use satelite connection. Since I pay a shit load I get around... 20k upload and 340k download.

if it wasn't so expensive i'd get the 4mbit package... but for 1.5mbit they want $120 per month. they can go skrew themselves i'll just download everything in the world on 768k/128k

That's cool. I'd probably have it too if they offered it here. Fastest here is 1.5. Best i've ever gotten out of it on dslreports is 1.4 something. If it wasn't for my 2 kids i'd probably drop the cable tv too. The 1.5's $55/mo and another $50 for basic digital cable.
